02-07-2015: v7.0, Krita 2.9.7 - Pepper&Carrot stable kit: solidifying previous kit after 10 episodes.
08-03-2017: v8.2, Krita 3.1.2 - If it works, don't fix it: 10 brushes added, minor update for 2.
This brushkit is a free bonus on the way of more episodes for my webcomic Pepper&Carrot. All this big work couldn't be possible without the support of my patrons. I also took time to write here a full description of every 64 brushes you'll get in the pack. As usual with all my brushkit (I maintain them since 2009), I decided to distribute them for free, for anyone. That's how I started this new version of my brushkit for Krita, the serie 8. I wanted to have something looking good and useful in my preset docker. Also, you probably won't need it because an enhanced version of this brush pack joined the default brush installed with Krita 4.x: I managed them.
The Quick Brush motor is a very fast and simple brush motor.Update: This resources is outdated and unmaintained : it won't work as intended with future version of Krita (after Krita 4.2) Check the 'extras' category to find the most recent brushes.
You can also select colors from Krita's windows with precision and it has better support for working with palettes. This color picker supports selecting HDR colors and colors that are outside the sRGB gamut of our display.
New color selector that we can access from the dual color button on the top toolbar.
Now we can color frames in the timeline and animate the content of the layer filters, fill layers and masks.
An automated opacity interpolation between frames has been included in an animation.
Now Krita can render animations and convert them to GIF, mp4, mkv and ogg.
There are probably still small bugs, but the time has come when macOS users can natively use Krita and report bugs they may find. OpenGL layers work just as well as anywhere else. The new version also allows us to use a curve editor to animate the properties, it comes with a new color selector with which we can select colors from a wide range and a new brush engine has been included that paints quickly on large layers. The release comes after a year and a half of hard work and contains performance improvements and bug fixes.Īs we can read in Your Website, Krita us now allows to pass animations to GIF or various video formats. Krita's team has been pleased to announce the Krita 3.1.1 release, at the same time that they remind us that v3.1 is the first that is available for OS X, although we will have to get used to calling it macOS, the new name with which Apple hopes to make all its operating systems called similarly.
